Lost: Live Together ,Die Alone
65 days after September 22 2004 the Lost family has gotten rid of the button, ending that miserable storyline.
The only other good thing is we finally see the world outside of island and yes it's still going on.
It's not what's on, it's what else is on.

The big Rambaldi secret in Alias was immortality!
This seems to be slightly disappointing ending to Alias meaning Lost may have an even crappier ending.
Once again the endgame was immortality, Sloane is now immortal but trapped in a cave but no one else who is alive knows. No one alive knows that a secret immortality formula exists and apparently no one cares. Sydney's parents are dead and five years later her genius daughter and infant son are living happy with Vaughn.
In 24 Jack won the president lost and the Chinese now have Jack and probably will brainwash him and send him on a mission in next January's season premiere. So will America have to fight super-agent Jack Bauer.

Yes it seems I'm only blogging when I need to rant but here I go.
Oprah had a show today with the former Mrs. Armstrong and others bitching about marriage.
Oprah said was that you must listen for God to tell you that you should not get married.
What really was going on was women who lied about everything when dating a man now are getting scared that they can't continue their lies when married.
Kristin Armstrong, who still uses her ex-husbands last name, rather have a single life then grow-up and take care of her family. She gave a list of important things none of which were kids or family.
Being a selfish brat is fine but don't blame marriage or a man on your greed. As for "God Whispers" Oprah should get a statistics book and see reality.
That leads to last nights What About Brian: Sex, Lies and Videotape.
Deena quits her affair but Dave starts his own. Deanna used the same excuses that Oprah tried to legitimize. She said that she lost herself when she got married to Dave and wanted to experience the newness of being with someone else. Selfish, selfish, selfish.
Brian on the other hand is at the end of Marjorie's selfish quest to have a rich good husband and fun boyfriend.
David Blaine: Drowned Alive
He fakes being sick after all these stunts. It's more dramatic then just walking off.

...and get deported!
I hope that all these immigrants rallies around America are being monitored, photographed and soon deported. Today all these felons and their allies gathered and did not work.
It was great the subways were empty on my route and the streets were clear and safe.
I like legal immigration but these new breeds of mostly Mexican, South American and Caribbean don't come to
America to be part of us. These felons come over and try to make this country like theirs. They left their crappy country and bring their problems and want us to turn into their crap-filled country.
Hey I don't go to your country and bring to you common sense and clean running water, so don't come hear and bring your ignorance and gang violence.
May 1 is not an American holiday, besides the fact that it began in Chicago in 1886, so stop celebrating it.
Another fact is that Americans will do all the jobs left when we finally deport the felons.
By the way Happy 75th Birthday Empire State Building.
Now please can I get off my rant and return to my regularly scheduled programs.

My rant about Charlie Sheen a few days ago has been confirmed by his wife, Denise Richards. When I wrote Stupid Guy I was just speaking about his ridiculous comments about 9/11 but now he has stupid ideas about everything.
At The Smoking Gun they claim to have a restraining order filed by his wife.
Here's some points I found interesting...

Smallville: Mercy
Some psycho is after Lionel Luther and as usual on of the Kents gets snatched up. Typical episode with Clark saving the day. The one twist is that Linoel saw Clark using his powers even though he already new about Clarks unearthly origins.
One thing that caught my critical eye was when the elevator came hurdling down Clark stepped under it and stopped it. Now if they would've died when it hit bottom wouldn't they still die just 6 feet higher when the elevator smashed into Clark's hands?
Supernatural: Dead Man's Blood
What is the complete opposite of Charmed? This show.
Today the guys used the power of three to partially defeat some vampires and get a real strong gun.
Yes kids NBC canceled Celebrity Cooking Showdown and replaced it with Will & Grace and My Name Is Earl repeats. I saw parts of the last episode and thought it was another fake reality crapfest.
On another side note I caught the end of The O.C. and while I hate that show it was nice to see Amber Barretto, a former child actress. She is Hispanic and it was kinda sad to see her play a lowly babysitter with a hint of an accent, she should have her own show.

What About Brian: Episodes 1 & 2
From the creators of Lost comes a show that is completely unbelievable. This show centers around Brian a poor young lad who gets used by women for one night stands.
His friend Dave has a wife who wants to cheat and gives him permission but he is so in love that he can't even bring himself to seriously flirt with anyone else. Dave's wife Deena, played by the great Amanda Detmer, is an almost-slut-whore who wants to break-up her marriage.
Angelo is the Italian brother-in-law of Brian who helps his through a miscarriage and humiliating exams just to make her happy and she still regrets her situation.
Then there is Adam who is engaged with the almost perfect Marjorie, played by the great Sarah Lancaster. He's a devoted husband to be and comprises to make her happy and she repays him by making out and falling for Brian.
I'm not sure what island these men came from but they sure have greater patience with women than I.
Overall a good show.

The Sopranos: Live Free or Die
Vito gets outed and now he's marked for death except Tony hasn't given the order.
Some other side story deals with Carmela's failure in her business venture even in the light of other mob wives successes.
What I found most interesting was when Vito was with his "girlfriend" he was watching TV. On the TV was an obvious computer image of Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel. I tried to confirm this by watching the end credits
but instead they credited Veronica Mars.
Interesting that they chose originally to have the gay guy watch Veronica Mars and then decided to change it to a more masculine show.
Update:
Thanks to Anonymous and BobbyBuz...
... for pointing out that the babysitter was watching Veronica Mars in Vito's house. I was completely focused on the angle of the babysitter that I didn't even notice the TV.
So disregard my short rant and who is that babysitter she is not in IMDB but a Google search of her acting background under the name Amanda Magnavita only says she is a day player.

I just saw the Jimmy Kimmel Live interview with Charlie Sheen.
I'll start by saying that Two and a Half Men is one of the funniest shows on TV. Also I never cared about Sheen one way or another until...

Tonight he addressed some comments he made on some radio show about how he believes that a US conspiracy was behind the 9/11 attacks and that WTC 7 was brought down by other then terrorist means. He is completely wrong and is pushing the idiot revolution that is sweeping the country. He is inline with the anti-evolution, anti-psychiatry and promoters of 'fake' attacks on religion, like O'Reilly and Cruise.
As an engineer and a movie fan and a person who lived in the worst parts of New York I can tell you that 9/11 did happen as the 9/11 Commission stated. Why?

Whether or not you like soaps you have to give credit for a show that made the transition from radio to television and is still highly rated.
It has been 50 years of As The World Turns on television.
Among the other long running cast members there is Helen Wagner who has played Nancy Hughes on As The World Turns since April 2, 1956, the first TV episode. She was born 3 September 1918 in Lubbock, Texas.
Today is the first of the two part anniversary episode of CBS's As The World Turns. The episode has Maddie Coleman imagining all the family's from Oakdale as classic TV shows.
The Snyders are in a Beverly Hillbillies skit.
Carly Tenney-Lowe-Snyder is in a I Dream of Jeannie skit including the canned laughter.
The Munsons in a Munsters skit.
Katie and family in an I Love Lucy skit Henry Coleman was Ethel and Fred.
Gwen and Will in a Happy Days skit.
The best parts was the use of original theme songs.

The Sopranos : Members Only
After 2 years the family is back but only 1 year has passed in their universe.
Meadow is hot and showing it to her fiancee.
AJ is being a college punk.
Carmela is having nightmares about Adrianna and her failing new home selling venture.
Tony had a good year and now everything is going bad fast.
Uncle Junior is going crazy.
The "family" is being monitored by the FBI but the first snitch has a heart attack and dies after handing over a bad tape. The second snitch can't go to Florida so he hangs himself.
Tony's day gets worse when Junior in a delusional state shoots him in the gut. Tony barley manages to call 911 and passes out.
Members Only refers to the jacket the guy who hung himself wore.
Grey's Anatomy: Band Aid Covers The Bullet Hole
Dr. Grey grudgingly says sorry to Dr. O'Malley who went all SWF to his hair.
Dr. O'Malley and Dr. Burke get closer to the ire of Dr. Yang.
Dr. McDreamy admits he's been a dick to his wife.
I've been watching all the shows some of the best this week were; King Of Queens, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, My Name Is Earl and Battlestar Galatica.
I also saw Crash...I mean Oscar winning Crash. First thing that comes to mind is that Sandra Bullock is barely in the movie but she gets top billing. Don Cheadle and Ludacris carry the movie along with Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillipe. The best scenes involve the Latino family.
Overall it's a very good movie the DVD bonuses suck but I don't care about the extras.

TV is educational. If you can't learn something everyday your box is broken.
