CGI you are my N M E
Get NME it is a play on acronyms. Damn I kill myself.
Computer-generated imagery[1] (also known as CGI) is the application of the field of computer graphics or, more specifically, 3D computer graphics to special effects in films, television programs, commercials, simulators and simulation generally, and printed media.
Thank you Wikipedia.
Also commonly known as you ruined my movie. Form what I here Indiana Jones 4 and the Newest Hulk still are plagued with this crap.
Remember Surface yeah they ruined that show too. Ignoring bad plots I blame CGI.
As prepare for what will most likely be a disappointing Lost finale I take solace in the fact the kept the smoke monster to a bare minimum.
Okay quick review
GOOD...

And BAD....

Mystery Solved
About 3 years ago I saw an actress on the subway, the 1, 2, or 3 train. I could not remember her name or anything she worked in or any one she worked with so I made a mental note and waited.
The other day I flipped through the channels and saw her in a movie called Because I Said So with Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore. Quickly I went to IMDB and found out her name.
Mary Pat Gleason
She's been in over 100 credited works and had a one-woman show, details here.
It only took three years but finally I can put that section of my brain to rest.

Smells like B.O.
Thank God for Tina Fey and her rant a few weeks ago in support of Hillary Clinton.
If Oprah can force the masses to vote for Hussein-Obama then Tiny should do the same for a better candidate.
I'd hate to vote for McCain but it seems I may have to.

Shame
Dear CD101.9 Smooth Jazz Listeners,
The staff of CD101.9 would like to thank you for your support over these past 20 years of Smooth Jazz CD101.9. Due to a declining audience for Smooth Jazz over the past few years, we are sad to announce that Smooth Jazz will no longer be available on the 101.9 signal. On February 5th we launched an innovative new adult rock format on the 101.9 frequency called 101.9 RXP The New York Rock Experience. 101.9 RXP is a respectful and intelligent mix of new music, classic rock and alternative - we invite you to try it. If you are solely a Smooth Jazz lover, "Smooth Jazz CD101.9" will continue to exist on our HD2 channel. Just purchase an HD capable radio and you will be able to listen to your favorite Smooth Jazz artists for free as always! CD1019.com will continue to provide you with upcoming smooth jazz events in association with the HD2 channel, and if you are a member of the CD101.9 Loyal Listener Club you will continue to receive e-mail updates.
If you do not have an HD radio and are not a fan of Rock, we invite you to try 98.7 Kiss FM The Best Variety of Old School and Today's R&B as an alternative. Listen to 98.7 Kiss FM for your chance to pick up tickets to the "Concert In Red" Valentine's concert at the Beacon Theatre February 14th. It's one of the many amazing shows coming in 2008 that you can find out about on 98.7 Kiss FM.
We hope that this note finds you sharing the same excitement that we feel! We look forward to many more years of providing New York with Smooth Jazz in HD, and The New York Rock Experience on 101.9 RXP!

The Perfect Season
With 3 months off I expect that the next episodes of every show on TV will be brilliant and perfect.
There should be no holes in the story(Prison Break, 24), no weak-ass endings(Sopranos), and no pseudo-cliffhangers(Desperate Housewives, Battlestar Galactica).
Also every character should have an talking scene(Stargate Atlantis).
3 months to make 5 scripts all these shows must be perfect.

They're back!!!!
Noooooooo!
Damned writers are back. I was hoping the strike would stretch until may but no chance.
Jericho is back too and kind of boring.
The Grammys were a shame only because Amy W. did not thank Britney, Linsdey, Nicole, or Paris for promting her song for two years. Publicity over talent should be the title of her next song.
Lost has added something.

Lost Dehanced
I warned before about mixing internet and TV genres, but ABC doesn't listen.
Tonights episode of Lost was ruined with Pop-Up Video style facts sprinkled through out most of the episode.
Enough with the damned interactivity just show the episode, do a voice over if you have to but I don't want to read my favorite shows, this isn't a DVD.

Long Holiday
House: It's a Wonderful Lie
Hell is it Christmas again, oh no the writers strike has forced House to give it's Christmas episode over a month late.
The episode follows the typical House track.

Sci-Fi friday
I'll admit Flash Gordon is better then I first thought or I'm desperate for any TV show with a script.
The show started out like many sci-fi crap with a search for someone lost. Flash looked for his father for a few episodes now he is focused on uniting aliens in a war against Ming the Merciless.
Stargate Atlantis: Harmony
This was the best episode of the half-season which is not saying much. It had a teen queen being escorted through a forest by two Atlantis team members.
It was funny and clever but very predictable. At least it wasn't another talk fest like last weeks quarantine.
I watch Sci-fi to watch aliens, robots, and humans fight not to be preached on how bad the Iraq war is..cough...cough...BATTLESTAR GALACTICA..cough.
